SnapAct supports product discovery, partner engagement, online comparison, scan-to-reminder, organized record-keeping, messaging, and supported purchase flows. These terms apply across those experiences.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using SnapAct, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The SnapAct service
SnapAct provides software that helps people discover relevant options, review partner results, compare third-party online offers, organize useful details such as events, tickets, bookings, invoices, receipts, and documents, exchange messages with sellers where available, and complete supported purchases using escrow-style flows coordinated by payment partners. Features vary by region, platform build, merchant configuration, and compliance requirements; not every feature is available in every market.
- You agree to use SnapAct only for lawful purposes and in line with posted acceptable-use expectations.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for the accuracy of information you supply.
- For reminder scans, you are responsible for verifying dates, times, amounts, venues, and deadlines before relying on any alert.
- You must not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and devices used with SnapAct. Notify us promptly at support@snapact.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Paid services and billing
SnapAct may offer paid business services, promotional placements, commerce-related fees, or other optional paid features from time to time. Pricing, billing terms, renewals, cancellations, and refunds, where applicable, will be disclosed in the relevant checkout, order, or service flow and may be processed by third-party providers or platform partners.
5. Commerce, escrow, chat, and partners
When you initiate or accept a transaction inside SnapAct, you are contracting with the applicable seller or buyer as well as using our software to coordinate logistics (such as messaging or payment status). Payment services are provided by regulated third parties; SnapAct is not a bank.
- You must provide truthful information for tax, shipping, or compliance checks when requested.
- Escrow or held-fund models only apply where disclosed in-app and supported by the integrated payment provider.
- Verified partner placements and business profiles are submitted by merchants. SnapAct reviews applications but does not guarantee every listing or inventory claim; always exercise independent judgment before visiting a location, placing an order, or sending funds.
- Chat content may be used to operate the feature, comply with law, enforce these terms, and protect users.
6. Scan reminders and notifications
Some scans are not buying actions. If SnapAct detects a ticket, event, booking, invoice, receipt, bill, or document, it may route the scan into a reminder or calendar-style flow instead of marketplace results. Reminders depend on device settings, operating-system delivery, network conditions, and the accuracy of extracted details.
- You should review every extracted date, amount, venue, and note before saving a reminder.
- Notifications may be delayed, silenced, or blocked by device permissions, battery settings, connectivity, or platform controls.
- SnapAct helps organize reminders, but it does not replace your responsibility to meet payment, travel, event, or legal deadlines.
7. SnapAct Ads and promotional surfaces
We may display SnapAct-controlled promotional messages (“SnapAct Ads”) or sponsored partner placements. Paid placements are labeled according to in-app policies. You can adjust relevant notification preferences where the platform allows.
8. Intellectual property
SnapAct retains all rights in the app, branding, documentation, and related materials except for the limited license granted to you to use the software. You retain rights in content you supply; you grant SnapAct the license reasonably required to host, process, and display that content to deliver the service.
9. Changes, availability, and beta features
We may modify features, pricing, or policies to reflect product, legal, or safety requirements. We may also suspend all or part of the service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. Experimental or preview features may not behave like production functionality.
10. Disclaimers
SnapAct is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Information surfaced in the application—including extracted fields, marketplace comparisons, maps, and partner listings—depends on third-party sources, merchant configuration, and network conditions; you should verify critical details independently before acting. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, exact product availability, or particular commercial results from partner placements or promotional content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapAct and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, or data arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid SnapAct directly for the service in the twelve months before the claim (if any), except where prohibited by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using SnapAct at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, legal risk, or a material breach of these terms.
13. Contact
